AIS Alumni Photos

Photo blog of alumni from the American International School (AIS) in Israel. The initial focus of this page was photos of and from members of the class of 1988, but we've expanded following the 2006 AIS Grand Reunion. Maintained by Daniel Hocutt, AIS class of 1988.

Tatko's Reunion Slideshow

Tatko gave me the slides from the Gala Dinner Slideshow to scan and post. For the time being, 250 of the 271 slides can be accessed online using Shutterfly at share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=0AaNXLFm1cMmLjQ (Shutterfly allows only 250 total photos to be shared). You do not need to create a Shutterfly account to view the slides.

Once the AIS Alumni Association Web site is able to handle photo uploads, I plan to post these photos to the ais-alumni.com site. Tatko has also given me additional slides from his collection to scan, and he plans to continue sending me what he terms are "thousands of slides" to scan and post in the future. Meanwhile, enjoy what Shutterfly allows me to share!

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series I

Ms. B!

Fran with Ms. B

Art with Ms. B

Alon K. and Fran. I believe Fran apparently 1) just swallowed an Israeli cockroach, 2) is attempting to explain to Alon the very serious principle of Gonen's "de olif procedure," 3) can't believe that Ed Tatko just mooned her (or enjoyed it very much), or 4) can't believe where Alon's hand just landed. (Blogger's note: Tatko encouraged me to write mean things in this caption. It's all his fault. I fear another slap upside my head.)

More from the crew that went to Jerusalem - Anders' son appears hungry!

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series F

Janice, Ted L., and Alon K. hanging out in the gym or on the beach.

More folks I don't know, but what a great photo!

Mike F. holding court in the AIS courtyard.

Jerry V. relaxing... I want to know where I missed the wine!

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series E

Cheering for Red... a hopeless endeavor, I fear. That's Natalie and Nate L.

We just can't get enough hockey. What's with the green floor?

David sweats as an oldie. But are you every too old for hockey?

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series D

Ahh - nothing better than a return to hockey!

I think this is a Jerusalem fountain. Someone on the trip can tell me where it is

A refreshing beverage on a hot Jerusalem afternoon

And hummous... I know I ate my weight in it!

Ed Tatko in the flesh, subject instead of photographer

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series C

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series B

Lunch on the grounds with Daphna, Mike, and Elise

Can't remember names of these folks - I'll need a little help. I think it's Doron on the right.

Natalie with Eric, Meg, and Anabel in the kiosk

Daphna making plans and getting things together

Fran Ran, still organizing and helping pull things together

Reunion Photos from Tatko - Series A

"Granny" Elise with her grandchildren

"EAGLES!" Gonen splits attention between reffing in his "spiffy" shirt and serenading the hockey players

Charlotte C. and Fernando P. hanging out at the food vendors

Natalie R., surely organizing the gala dinner or beach party

Two Farillas. Farillae? Farilli? How do you create the plural in Cypriot?
